Art Hooks' Pro-Am takes place in Hua Hin, Thailand. The 2009
tour is scheduled to run from February 6 to February 20.
The golf courses we play are at Springfield and Banyan; both are beautiful and challenging!
Tour participants have the option of two hotels to choose from; the 5-star Hilton and the 3-star Jed Pee Nong.
The Jed Pee Nong is a quality 3 star hotel completed in 2004. The hotel is centrally located - only one block from restaurants and two blocks from the ocean.
The prices, in Canadian currency, are based on double occupancy and rates vary from pro-am to non pro-am. They are:
- The Hilton
- $4795 CDN (golf in the pro-am)
- $4295 CDN (golf, non pro-am)
- $3995 CDN (non-golf)
- The Jed Pee Nong
- $3795 CDN (golf in the pro-am)
- $3295 CDN (golf, non pro-am)
- $2995 CDN (non-golf)
- Each Golf, pro-am team (of three amateurs) is captained by a golf professional.
- Each Golf, "non" pro-am (of four amateurs) is without a professional.
- Each non-golfer has the option of six daily tours.
There is a non-refundable deposit of $1000CDN at the time of booking; balance is due by November 15th (see **exception below). The tournament fee is $100CDN per pro-am player for the team prize pool to be paid to your golf professional in cash.
The cancellation policy is as follows:
- Deposit is non-refundable;
- from November 16 to December 15, 50% of the return is deducted;
- **Full payment is required for anyone registering after December 16 and it is non-refundable.
Trip cancellation insurance is recommended and must be taken out at the time of your booking.
Travel documents are required; a passport that is valid until August 30, 2009 and a visa for anyone wishing to stay longer than 30 days.
a. Golfers, Non Pro-Am are entitled to 6 rounds of golf
b. Non Golfers will visit historical sites such as River Kwai, King's Palace, Petchburi, Floating Market, and National Park.
Airport taxes, power cart rentals, credit card charges and the $100 pro-am fee are not included in the tour package fee.
